The first virtual LIFE AND DEATH of MESSE BREMEN was a complete success: a total of 38,392 interested people accessed the website on Friday and Saturday, 8 and 9 May, at times around 1,600 at the same time. For comparison: last year, 5,031 interested people came to the congress and accompanying trade fair, which is unique in Germany.
Bremen's Social Senator Anja Stahmann had opened the event virtually. Greetings were also given by theologian Prof. Margot Käßmann, actress Bärbel Schäfer and the physician and cabaret artist Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen. In total, the participants were able to busy themselves with about 180 contributions, including about 50 lectures and 20 interactive videos.
