Presence trade fairs, conferences and congresses are currently not possible, but the halls of MESSE BREMEN are nevertheless booked. We are pleased that our halls can be usefully utilized during this time when no events can take place. Now the vaccination center on the grounds of Messe Bremen is being expanded. A Corona Vaccination Center was already set up in Hall 7 at the end of 2020. Since then, at least 2,500 citizens have been vaccinated against the virus there every day. Halls 4, 5 and 6 will now be added in March. According to statements by the health department, the MESSE BREMEN will probably be Germany's largest vaccination center for the time being.
The reason for the expansion: According to the Federal Ministry of Health, more vaccine doses will be available nationwide from April. Then at least 12,500 citizens of Bremen can be vaccinated against the Corona virus on one day at the Bürgerweide. While Johanniter is responsible for the vaccinations in Hall 7, the German Red Cross (DRK) will take over in the other three halls. More on this topic: www.bremen.de/corona/gegen-corona-impfen.
