At the BOTTLE MARKET in Hall 7 of MESSE BREMEN, visitors took the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of whisk(e)y, r(h)um or gin while discovering very personal delights. "We are satisfied under the circumstances with the course of the BOTTLE MARKET and have seen many happy and satisfied faces both with the guests and with our 124 exhibitors," says area manager for public fairs at MESSE BREMEN Kerstin Renken and adds, "After a year of forced break, we were particularly pleased that we were finally able to present a large selection of international spirits again."
Of course, no one will have succeeded in sampling the entire variety of spirits on offer - especially since those interested had to dig deep into their pockets for some precious items: the "Karuizawa" from 1988 that Uwe Wagmüller of "Finest Whisky" had on offer, for example, cost 200 euros - for two centiliters, mind you. "Most visitors, however, are primarily interested in finally treating themselves to their dream drop, exchanging ideas with like-minded people and talking shop with producers and experts," says project manager Anja Rickmeier. "At the BOTTLE MARKET, the holistic enjoyment with all senses, the decided tasting out of the different flavors is absolutely in the foreground. For at home most take themselves naturally the one or other noble drops with."
On the BOTTLE MARKET there was however not only liquid. The Bremen confectionery van Heyningen had as every year, for example, two handmade chocolates on offer, which were filled quite exclusively with the two BOTTLE MARKET Festival Bottlings. In addition, there were cheese and sausage specialties, "substantial" jams and cakes, a large selection of chips and various food trucks provided an equally delicious as solid basis.
Sample surveys of visitors prove that the BOTTLE MARKET team got quite a lot right. The voices ranged from "great atmosphere, not at all like at a trade fair" to "we'll definitely be back!"
Who likes, can note the date for the next BOTTLE MARKET already: Friday to Sunday, November 18 to 20, 2022.
