The International Coral Reef Symposium is the world's leading conference on coral reef science, management and conservation, held every four years by the International Coral Reef Society (ICRS). For the first time in its history, the ICRS will be held in Europe. The University of Bremen is proud to be the organiser of the 15th ICRS 2022, which will be held in presence at MESSE BREMEN, after the 14th ICRS 2021 had to be converted into a virtual event. One of the aims of ICRS 2022 will be to present the latest scientific findings and concepts and make them known to the public and politicians. Up to 2,500 participants from over 90 countries are expected.
