jazzahead 2023!

The jazzahead! is a trade fair and festival at the same time. Contemporary jazz from Germany, Europe and overseas as well as an annually changing partner country are the focus. This year: Germany. From 27 to 30 April, the jazz world will meet at MESSE BREMEN to network and experience the 36 international showcases. This time, these also include four “commissioned works”: brand new ensembles that will have their premieres at jazzahead! The showcases are also part of the parallel festival programme in Bremen. Highlights include the opening ceremony with Till Brönner, the German Jazz Award, a musical reading with actor Sebastian Koch and the now legendary CLUBNIGHT, this time on Friday evening.
